Hi, me and my two sons we are here on a 3 months NON O visa, if I have to go in Laos (Savannaket or Vientian) for the one year extension without showing the bank book, I can go alone or with my sons and wife also?

Thanks in advance.

Just to get the terminology correct, you receive an extension of your permission to stay in Thailand at an immigration office in Thailand. At an embassy of consulate outside Thailand you receive a visa.

It is my understanding that you can only get a multiple entry non-O in Laos for reason of marriage to a Thai (and only in Sawannakhet). Otherwise, you can only get a single entry non-O visa valid for 90 days. Others can correct me if my recollection on this is faulty.

If your wife and children also need a new visa they also have to go to a Thai consulate.

Hi, I live in Thailand since 2009 with a marriage visa (with thai wife) our sons was with us until September 2013. For some reasons I have sent them to stay with my parents in Europe, two months ago I went to pick up them and now we are here. So can you tell me what I can do for the one year visa without showing the bank book?

Many thanks in advance.

Your sons should be here on their Thai passports. If not they can get one year extensions of stay at immigration as returning Thai nationals. No financial proof is needed.

You can get a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai in Savannakhet with no financial proof. You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, signed and dated copies of your wife's house book and ID card. You will need to leave the country every 90 days with this visa.

I wrote every thing you need to a apply in my previous post.

No photos other than those needed for the visa application form are needed.
