I've got quite a few friends who do this. Quite successfully actually. The world's a much smaller place now.

my dogs have taste and would reject the ugly colourful ambience. the photo depicts the taste and class of this nomad family.

One friend who does this owns an ocean view condo here and basically just works remotely. But without all the new technology available today, he'd have to be onsite.

I've met many bloggers lately who are traveling the world. Not a lifestyle for me, but they are loving it. One is a retired (recovering) corporate lawyer from Chicago now living in Bali with her husband. They are due to move soon somewhere else, just don't know where yet!

it was interesting to "commute" between three existing homes located on three different continents carrying only hand luggage. any other move i consider nowadays a nightmare. it's of course not a hassle to move if your belongings fit in one big suitcase.
