My fiance want to stay in thailand for a bit long like 5 years but under their law you can only get retirement visa if you are 50 above.

He is a retired navy but 47 years old. what are the possible ways so he can stay in thailand?

As visa regulations apply to all foreign residents of Thailand I'll move this to the visas forum so as to get a better response.

Marry you and then obtain a support Thai wife extension of stay with 400k baht in a Thai bank account. This is done at immigration and will require both of you to apply and a number of documents.

Marry you and obtain a multi entry non immigrant O visa (best obtained in home country but probably also available elsewhere) which is valid for one year and allows stays of up to 90 days before having to leave/enter the country again.

Us tourist visas for 60 day stay that can be extended for 30 days. Repeat.
