Just wondering if anyone has used sevenseas worldwide shipping company recently? I'm looking to use them to send back a load of belongings to the UK from Bangkok.

If not, any recommendations on a reputable door to door shipping company that is reasonable with their prices?

I used them about 8 years ago to send 5 tea chests worth of stuff from the UK.

When the shipment arrived, pretty much everything was damaged. Books had pages torn out, were wet, and generally destroyed. A PC I sent over actually had a huge dent in the case, the monitor was cracked. It looked like everything had been taken out of the carefully packed and protected boxes, and then just thrown back in haphazardly without the protective packaging.

I spent 6 months trying to pin them down for a damages claim, and got absolutely nowhere.

My advice is do not go anywhere near them.

We used them about 9 years ago when we came here 21 tea chests ,they were fantastic,one tiny damaged ornament,couldn't have been more helpful

I used them FROM the UK without any problems.

Used them 1 time. Not so good. Many items were broken. After that we found another Company we now used twice.

Try crown or Asian tigers. As for damages as mentioned above. This could have been done by customs. They can do as they please.

used them from Australia and there was a heap of stuff missing and broken, took several months as well so they were well past their time frame given. Would not recommend them to anyone after the way my stuff was trashed and taken.

BE VERY WARY USING THIS COMPANY AS THEIR STAFF STEAL AND THEY USE EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO
DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM!

We have used this company a few times when travelling between countries but the last
time their staff had the audacity to go through our boxes and STEAL whatever they
liked. When we reported this matter to customer services their response was dismissive
even though we had taken extra insurance on our belongings.

Their response is because the items were stolen in transit, they don't know who stole
them so we are not covered. If you do take the extra paid insurance it only covers you
for non-delivery of the entire box and not for when their staff STEAL your belongings.
They have no intention of sorting out this issue as they know there is nothing you can
do! 

Please be aware of them and check your different options when sending your stuff home!
