BALMA, France (AP) — A wing flap suspected to be from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 on Saturday arrived at a French military testing facility where it will be analyzed by experts.

Mae Hong Son villagers get airlift supports

BANGKOK: -- Food and medical supplies along with medical teams are airlifted to Sob Moei district in Mae Hong Son, following floods and landslides that affect the accessibility to over 4,000 households.

He said that the access to Sob Khong village was blocked for over 20 km. In some spots, boats are deployed. In other spots with strong currents, helicopters are deployed to airlift supplies and medical assistance.

He expected the blocked road would be open again in the next three days, if there is no more rain.

One monk killed, 15 others injured in bus accident

BANGKOK: -- A chartered bus taking 27 Buddhist monks from Sakon Nakhon to the Dhammakaya temple in Pathum Thani overturned in Saraburi early Sunday, killing a monastic district chief and injuring 15 other monks, police said.

A suspect militant wanted for the death of three policemen was gunned down

Suspected bomber killed in shootout with troops in Narathiwat
The Nation

Narathiwat - A suspected insurgent was killed in a clash with troops in Narathiwat's Ruesoh district early Sunday.

Acting on tips-off, Narathiwat Taskforce 30 dispatched troops to surround a house in Ban Tanyong village in Tambon Batong at 4:30 am, leading to a shootout with the suspect.

Following the exchange of gunfire, the body of Masukarueno Yakumoh was found inside the toilet room of the house. An 11mm pistol was found near his body.

The suspect was sought under an arrest warrant for allegedly launching a bomb attack that killed two police officers in Narathiwat in 2013.

The house belongs to the suspect's father-in-law, who was taken to a military camp for questioning along with the suspect's wife.
