Age requirement to enter Laos for Thai visa?

So im planning to fly into laos to get the 60 day two reentry visa, but im only 17 years old. Will that affect my plans in any way?

There is no minimum age to get a Lao visa on arrival nor to apply for a tourist visa at the Thai embassy.

Is this really true? A 6-year old can go in an apply for a tourist visa on their own? Not being sarcastic but just curious if there really is not an age limit. (completely just out of curiosity) In the US you generally cannot legally sign most contracts until 18 but I believe getting a passport you can do on your own at 16 but not sure they would allow a minor (under 18) to sign and apply for a travel visa on their own but just guessing.

I don't think a 6 year old would be able to travel on their own to apply for a visa.

The question was if their was a minimum age to get a visa There is none.
