Take the BTS airport link to the end of the line at Phayathai Rd, then change trains and go to the Mo Chit stop on the BTS... Then grab a taxi to Chang Wattana... Fastest, easiest and cheapest way to get from A to B...

One minor modification to the above will save B100 each way.

Rather than taking a taxi from Morchit (exit parkside) passenger vans stop at the base of the stairway and there are regular ones going to Chang Wattana: B25.

Usually someone there will point out the correct van, or just ask the driver: "Tor Mor Chaing Wattana?" (Not exactly grammatically correct but will get the job done.)

When you leave CW, take the free bus to the complex entrance. Walk across the nearby footbridge and you can get a van that returns to Mo Chit.

I grant that a taxi is much easier. It just depends on how important saving B200 is to you.

Wrong, that wouldn't be the cheapest. Cheapest would probably be to take a non-aircon bus. Not sure if you could do that from the airport but definitely can at Mor Chit. Even taking a van from Mor Chit would be cheaper than a taxi.....

Also, getting off at Makkasan & taking the MRT to Chatuchak would most likely be cheaper & quicker than your suggestion of the extra journey wink.png

Unless one can read Thai, taking a BMTA city bus to Chaing Wattana can be frustrating. There are several buses that pick-up at Mo Chit BTS/MRT (Sorry, I forget the numbers) The problem is, while some of them stay on Chaing Wattana street level and do drop by the Govt complex, others with the same number stay on the overhead expressway, not going to street level until way past the complex, requiring the now very unhappy passenger to backtrack...grumbling all the way.

There is a sign of some sort that indicates the buses route but it's in Thai.
