Visa extension return flight

Hello I hold a British passport and will be applying for my visa next week. Iam going to apply for a 60 day single entry tourist visa and then apply for a 30 day visa extension as I will be in Thailand for 88 days and won't be going to any other country.

My question is will I need to book a cheap air Asia flight to another country because my return flight is booked but not until 88 days later so I wasn't sure if I will be denied boarding if I have a 60 day visa to start with but a flight returning later..

I travel in September and went to Thailand last year in November on a 60 day visa which is within a year is it true you can get denied a visa.

no need to worry about a return ticket, as you have a visa. have a good trip

If you have a valid visa a return or onward ticket is not required.
