Would Thai Wife Be Taxed?

Featured Replies

Please remove

Situation, Farang Husband, UK Income, Non-Immigrant O Visa, Thai Wife, living in Thailand.

If Farang Husband pays wife an allowance, say deposit the housekeeping money to her bank account, then would she be liable to pay Thai Income Tax on such money, bearing in mind it comes from the Husband's UK Income?

Thanks

Good Guy!

NOBODY takes care of it. There is NO tax payable. Not a solitary satang.
