Second Army Area commander sets up road check points in 19 northeastern provinces

BANGKOK: -- Second Army Area commander Lt Gen Sujet Wattansuk has ordered police and soldiers to jointly set up road check points in 19 northeastern provinces.

Sujet said soldiers and police at the checkpoints would try to prevent criminals and troublemakers from causing trouble.

The checkpoints would remain until the next government is set up.
