Item 5 = 690 just look at your profile or hover your mouse over your username.

Did that on the OP's and my own...even pressed on the "Likes" (curiosity was getting the better of me)...still cannot see how many "Likes" one has ?

On your profile page, look to the right hand side of the page, its there in a green box, in your case 1393

Because people feel better about themselves when anonymous strangers they've never met before, and probably never will meet, like their posts.

Must... acquire... more... likes... to... increase... self esteem...

It is really funny to me that others would seek to be liked by other forum members because according to most TV members the average expat or retiree they meet out and about is someone they would prefer not to talk to. This doesn't even account for the group of posters that don't even live in thailand.

Why would they want to be liked by people they don't like at all? It would seem that they would want to be disliked to not be part of that group. Sorry...i am trying to use basic logic...rule number one not to abide by in thailand
