Govt urges all sides to support new economic team

BANGKOK, 27 August 2015 (NNT) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha is hoping that everyone will support the new economic team, saying he personally believes they will achieve their goals in a short period of time.

Spokesperson to the Prime Minister’s Office Major General Sansern Keawkamnerd revealed that everyone has high expectations for the new economic team. He said that there is no need to put pressure on the team to work faster, as all members are determined to achieve results.

The new members are required to develop new economic policies and measures to move Thailand forward, while also accomplishing the goals set out by the previous team.

The spokesperson affirmed that the current measures in place will yield results as anticipated, but may require more than two months to flesh out completely.

Doesn't he know there's a world economic slowdown happening. Even George Osborne is having to eat his own words about the UK recovery !

Everyone has high expectations but as usual they will be dissapointed but at least we will get a new bunch making unfounded statements at press conferences to provide us with some new comedy.
