Questions remain as to why Pream Sokorn was in Samlot forest late last week when the black gaur, which can weigh up to 1,000 kilograms, attacked him, piercing his thigh with its horn. Neighbour Nhem Ly said Sokorn had entered the forest with “many dogs” to forage for medicinal plants for his wife, who had just given birth. read more: http://www.phnompenhpost.com/national/gaur-gores-battambang-man
BakHamLe
Gaurs "Wua Ga-ting" are beautiful creatures. IMO this guy deserved what he got, venturing into a protected forest to forage illegally. I hope he didn't injure the Gaur.
Gonsalviz
Gaurs "Wua Ga-ting" are beautiful creatures. IMO this guy deserved what he got, venturing into a protected forest to forage illegally. I hope he didn't injure the Gaur. A human being gets gored and you say he got what he deserved? What a dick. Protected forest does not include herbs. It does not mean people cannot go there. It means you may not steal the trees or animals. Going after a 1 ton animal with a cleaver would have to be rated as stupid. Edited August 31, 2015 by Gonsalviz
