Private thai recommendation?

Featured Replies

Im looking for a great Thai teacher around phuket town/kathu(if possible), i already read thai script "decently", i know a few words. I'd go with wallen but i would waste a lot of time with people who can't read most likely. Anyone has a great teacher to recommend? I don't want to learn how to ask for sumtam, i want to get good enough to finaly be independent. Tired of depending on my woman for everything and standing there like a monkey understanding 2-5% of what's said.

Unless im wrong about wallen and would still benefits from the cheaper classes?

I went to Patong language school for one on one lessons. They seemed okay to me.

Did 6 months (group) there, think i knew less thai by end than i did at the start (though had picked up some new words in Japanese, Russian, Swedish and Korean)

Tried going private lessons instead but they were pretty booked up as they seem to have no dedicated private teachers, just the group teachers fitting you into their schedule between classes

Yeah, i would never join a school in patnog nor do any business deal with any Thai located in patong. The odds of anything positive happening with someone that chose Patong as their home is about 5%.
