My extension is up mid.jan. I anticipate all Dec and first half of Jan to be busy at BKK Immigration. I think it unwise to wait until Jan 4 and its at least potentially possible I can break free from work as well. This spells doom. Back to December, we are leaving the country for Kings bday and taking a trip domestically xmas-new year.

This leaves very early Dec to make the extension, which is also prior to us leaving for abroad. So, Id have the extension pending stamped in my pp. My extension would not expire for six weeks though. Is making an extension six weeks early an issue? Will they stamp me up to Jan or will I lose a month? Is leaving the country with said stamp in pp an issue. Plus side is Id not need to report.

Next, what if I made the extension in November, explaining to.all and sundry about our trips and how backed up Immigration can be in the months ahead.

Finally, our lease only has my wifes name and is a very simple document despite the mgmnt company owning 3 bldgs and 200 units. One IO pushed he lease back, rejected. ??? It is legal lease - besides the lease is not a basis for our martiage at all! Hassled us twice. Next IO in afternoon tok it without a blink of her eye. Advice? Yes, we had a letter from the office with owners id attached, both names in letter.

I'm shuffling money tomorrow. Should have two mos complete by Nov 10.

Thank you.

PS has anything changed for this extension? Current creative photo suggestions pls.

The earliest you can apply for your extension is 45 days before it ends.

If you wanted to travel during the 30 day under consideration period you will need a re-entry permit for it.

If you plan to leave during the 30 day consideration you should give the immigration officer the dates that you'll be out of the country. This is incase they want to do a home visit and so they don't show up when you're away.
