Partial quote below from this CNN article: Link

Google has released a new version of Chrome that it claims will make your browser faster and give your laptop battery extra life.......Google says it will turn on that feature for all users over the next few weeks.

I believe it when I see it.A lot has to do with your ISP and also your WIFI connection.

What is the version number? It isn't available for my Samsung Galaxy Pro yet but it may be available for my Nexus 10. Thanks.

Edit

It should be faster.. but first update completly crashed my Chrome, it couldn't run at all.. it was some issue with my antivirus program. So I hope, that next mini Chrome update will fix all these little bugs and it'll finally start works faster and with less RAM memory consumption.

I just got the update....my previous Chrome version was 45.0.2454.85m....after the update it's 45.0.2454.93m...the update took about 15 seconds and a relaunch of Chrome.

Haven't noticed any difference yet.
