RuamRudy
I understand that substance is not so important when it comes to bashing the left - lies will do Thanks for calling me a liar on such slight acquaintance. I have tried and failed to find anything of the sort There is a free Internet service called Google (www.google.com) which is what they call a "search engine". Enter the words "corbyn disband army" (don't include the apostrophes) and it will lead you to the source that I quoted. He only needs to follow the Swedish blueprint of national suicide to formulate defense policy. Sweden has now but 6% of the army it once had. Clearly you didn't read the piece either, but why let the facts stand in the way of a good smear? RickBradford
Who's arguing? I'm agreeing with your point that Leftism could easily succeed in modern Britain. ... statements from supposed, but uncredited 'experts' Show me where I called anyone an 'expert'. This really is the pot calling the kettle black. You refer to other posters' contributions as 'smears' and 'lies', and then you turn round and simply make stuff up to smear others. Not smart. I presume that you posted the tract because you thought it would lend credence to your argument, but without knowing who wrote it, and whether they have a specific agenda, it is difficult to consider it any more valuable than my Mum's feelings on the matter. They certainly offered no factual basis for their argument, but merely a subjective rant about teachers indoctrinating school children.

You presume wrong, once again. I posted it as a discussion point for people interested in politics, not as rage material for paranoiacs. That is why I didn't credit it -- it is simply one person's opinion (as I clearly pointed out).

Everything you have used to bash Corbyn has been based on deliberate misrepresentations or supposition. I am neither raging nor paranoid, but I do admit to getting frustrated when people trot out half truths and innuendo and use those to build their case. Ok, so their footy team is cr@p, and they tend to let in too many migrants, but they still have Henning Mankell and a few other writers of that kind of excellence.....and if they have reduced their army to 6% of its former size, so much the better for them. Oh, I see, you mean stuff like making up claims that other posters are using statements from unnamed 'experts' to bolster their case, when they have clearly done nothing of the sort. That wasn't even a half truth -- it was completely false. Or is it supposed to be OK when you do it? Steely Dan
I wonder if the bookies are taking bets as to how long it will be before George Galloway is re admitted to the Labour Party. I believe he would make a perfect foreign secretary for a Corbyn cabinet.

Furthermore, if you had actually troubled to read the piece I quoted, you would have noticed that it was not 'bashing Corbyn' at all. It was simply an analysis of how young people today, hearing Corbyn's slogans, think they are getting a 'right-on' chap, and have no idea of the deep ideological commitment he has to Old Labour ways. A perfectly neutral piece, and really nothing for you to get in a temper about.
SheungWan
24 things that Jeremy Corbyn believes http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-34209478 I would struggle to find fault with any of those proposals. Yes, fully agree. They all make sense. None of the others, from any party, have made such clear statements. Refreshing. I guess all the retired comrade hacks in Thailand are getting quite excited. Steely Dan
I could at this point bring up the long list of terrorist organizations, holocaust deniers and known antisemites Corbyn has been associated with. However probably of more interest to most Brits is this, the words of Corbyn's new shadow chancellor.
MiKT
Following this historic result he now has a mandate, which I and a huge number of others believe in and voters can now look at Labour and see, unquestionably, that it stands for fairness, justice, peace and strong communities. It is the party of hope, ready to take on a government hell-bent on making life worse for ordinary people. He will stop the UK from continuing to join more false flag wars, ending up bombing civilians and selling arms to countries who bomb, bomb and bomb, in particular Israel, that's why the right wingers are terrified. He will be able to provide new direction which is just and fairer not only for Britain but the world at large. The world is in desperate need for such a leader. Wish Jeremy all the success rather than be negative. I am sure his selection to lead one of the biggest Political parties in Europe means a lot and will have today raised the morale of the poor destitute victims of the War on Terror. Scripted and produced by the power across the Atlantic and their selfish Zionist Israel and Zionist Royal Saudi Allies. These three powers need to be reined in because they have corrupted the world and turned it into a very dangerous place. Jeremy's election has sent out a strong message the people reject the wars and their violent and corrupted version of Capitalism. U.S. is old enough and strong enough to look after its interests without turning the world up side down. It is all becoming too much for the poor of this world to bear the burden of Wars to safeguard some imaginary fears of US, Israelis and Saudis. Dream on, a party of useless no hopers now. With 50 years old soviet rhetoric they have no chance of even being a useful oposition able to moderate ultra conservative policies. GB is doomed I tell yea, doomed I say. As for his deputy - Unspeakable a...h....
