30 Day Extension to a 30 Day Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Going for a extension to my 30 Tourist Visa next week at Changawatanna.

Normally I would just turn up after lunch and get my stamp and be on my way.

With rules being enforced more strictly what should I take along with me?

Airline ticket showing I am leaving Thailand

Bank Book showing over 20,000 baht

Cheers

There is no 30 day tourist visa.

I think you have a 30 day visa exempt entry.

There have been no changes to the application requirements to apply for a 30 day extension of your visa exempt entry.

No need for a ticket or bank book..

as a follow-on question, albeit by someone else - is it possible to obtain an extension to a 30 day visa exempt stamp at the Chamchuri Square Building office?

Am I correct in thinking all I need is a form and 1900 Baht?

Thank you

The only office you can use in Bangkok is Chaeng Wattana.

You need a completed TM7 form with a 4 cm X 6 cm photo attached. Copy of your passport photo page, entry/permitted to stay stamp and TM6 departure card.
