September 26, 201510 yr Nipped into their Tukcom the other day, only 20 minutes but long enough for a handwritten parking ticket (me and 4 other cars). Where to pay this? Thanks! NL
September 26, 201510 yr I assume you live in the area, so I would take it to the local police station. I don't know what happens if you don't pay (in time). I guess a letter will be sent the address of the registered car owner (you?). I recently got such a letter resulting from a CCTV "event" (continuing to turn on yellow light, 800 Baht). Letter with two photos etc. pp. I paid it at the police station (as far as I remember it was 14 days time frame for payment). From the forum I learned that you can go to any post office with the letter and pay there (e.g. if it happened away from your area). Edited September 26, 201510 yr by KhunBENQ
September 26, 201510 yr Payment directions will be on the ticket, get someone to read it for you but the nearest police station is the obvious place.
September 26, 201510 yr Searched through TV and another forum. Not much substantial info, except that you have seven (7) days to pay the ticket. (its stated on the ticket) This thread shows a scan of a traffic ticket (parking): http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/360636-parking-ticket/ (I will try to translate at least the "headlines" some time later) Edited September 26, 201510 yr by KhunBENQ
September 30, 201510 yr Author Took care of it at the Sriracha cop shop, 500 baht for parking in a taxi rank. There is a blue 'P' sign and parking bays. However, on the day I parked, the designated parking bays are totally occupied by yet another string of infernal vendors carts. This leads the less observant to park over the official taxi rank that only has some well worn and faded yellow paint on the pavement to mark its presence. Tricky one and an obvious cash cow for the local MiB.
October 1, 201510 yr I believe you can also pay this online now. At least for speeding tickets they send with nice color photos.
