aland2012
Hello All I know talking about Agents on this site can be touchy so I will be careful in what I say. I would like to know if one chooses to take on an agent and pay for an agent, what exactly does an agent do for you in helping you with an application? What are their required TO DO? Or is this a grey area? In taking on an agent you as the client still have to get all paperwork and documentation together anyway. So with paying for an agent are you really paying for? theoldgit
There is already a pinned topic regarding the use of agents, http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/321466-visa-agents/ We don't need a further general thread on the same subject. This thread is closed.
Orac
It was a few years back but, for me, it was the reassurance and assistance they gave to my wife when getting a UK spouses visa as I was not in Thailand at the time. The onus for the bulk of the paperwork was on me to provide but, once I had provided them with a folder of all the documentation and taken my wife to meet them in BKK I was able to return to the UK and leave them to sort out my wife's side of the documentation and prep/accompany my wife for interview and IoM TB test.
