Jester Posted April 6, 2004 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Hi - I am a UK ex-pat working in Thailand for 2-3 years. I am heading to the US soon on holiday and am trying to line up some travel insurance (makes sense given US medical system). I tried to go through my old insurer in the UK but they can not cover me for travel that does not originate in the UK. I have also asked a few Thai colleagues what they do for travel insurance and they were, like, "what? oh no we don't bother with that kind of thing..." Mai ben rai. So can anyone recommend a way to get some basic cover for a UK citizen, living in Thailand, planning travel (10 days) to the US?
