People like FREE things , 30 baht is basically FREE,

Poor people like FREE things even more because whatever they pay , they cannot buy the next thing ,

Have you ever been to a Government hospital in the USA ?

Spend 30 hours at UCLA Harbor General hospital waiting for "free" care , its not fun....

So waiting is just part of FREE ,

Now European FREE health care is because you prepaid so much in taxes so you think its FREE,

but you really just paid in advance ,

OK, enough RANT , I think its a good thing for Thais , I hope it continues and gets better, ....

And you can always pay more if you want quicker service smile.png

Will it make us feel any happier or safer. I felt quite safe and happy when Thaksin was in power and the countries economy was going ahead in leaps and bounds. Probably the best it had ever been. rolleyes.gif

Propaganda post as usual, no real facts-----WHY was it so good ?? wasn't Thaksin, if you look the world economy was at it's best---NOTHING TO DO WITH THAKSIN.

Your in cloud cuckoo land, because of your post suggesting it was Thaksin that created the super Thai economy, it HAS to be an agenda post. Reality old sailor, tell the whole story.

You know Ginjag, if I was just the teensiest bit cynical, I might just be beginning to wonder if you might just have a little agenda?

Jag, come clean stop bashing the Government and stop your agenda----I just go with the flow as it seems to be be better than before, Some minority on TVF are here to create hate, at any given moment.

My last post was FACT, your agenda did not want to know, hence your reply. diverting the reply to suit your agenda. Had you stated the Thai economy was better during Thaksin rule----- due to world economy---I would have agreed----see my point.

Ginjag: I fundementaly disagree with this government because of the way it installed itself (engineered failure of elections due to thuggery leading to political stalemate to justify a coup), and because of the way in which it rules ( martial courts, attitude adjustment, article 44 decrees and so on).

If you wish to consider that an "agenda" well do so - there is nothing hidden there. You are just as entitled to consider the Junta as the most wonderful thing since the Virgin Birth, but I and dare I say others are getting tired with you bawling abuse and allegations of conspiracy at those who dare to disagree with you. Once it was quite amusing, frankly now it is boring. Accept that people have valid reasons for what they say and give over banging on about "agenda".

There is no disputing that this was another UN failure, yet from this failure the UN was instrumental in bringing Slobodan Milošević to trial for war crimes

----------------

so when the UN will bring Bush, Rumsfeld and many other of the US former Goverment to trial for starting a war based on lies and killing hundred thausands of innocent people?

Jag---Amnesty --unlawful by the PTP Shin fugitive government---and you have the audacity to speak about the way the army moved in. you fail to see there was no other choice. why not blame the corrupt fugitive government ?? the reason I am saying you have an agenda. your failure to recognise the past events leading up to the intervention- I DO NOT LIKE ARMY CONTROLLING but here until stability and corruption is cauterized I go with the flow-------You have failed to see this.

Quote 'OTHERS" are getting tired of me bawling----do you mean your lot that I am referring to ??

Had to laugh at the takeover--army thuggery ( have you heard about RED RULE and their- more than thuggery ?? another reason why I speak agenda. you are onesided and OTT about freedom here. I understand the situation with the army-----there was never democracy here---now is a chance------you are not interested along with you minority TVF colleagues --------my posts all along are thank god the Shins are out-------so NOW let the people see what they were up to, then in the next election time Thais will be more aware of who is good and bad---up to them.

There really is no point continuing this debate.

If you cannot understand that there was another choice, namely the election that the current Junta were complicit in trashing, then the whole argument becomes pointless.

Your claims that opponents of the junta are a minority, both on this forum and in Thai society are baseless, and as for giving your beloved general time to prove his worth, he <deleted>*ng stole the country, why should he be given any slack?

Admit it Ginjag , you are a fan of a military d*ct*t*rsh*p. For whatever reason you have chosen to buy into that form of government. Don't expect the rest of is to be as gullible.

I think there should be a scheme to cover the people who live in Thailand the farang population especially the older generation people who can afford to live here but cant afford the high medical charges and the spiralling cost of medication .

As a Farang retiree staying in Thailand, I receive absolutely nothing except for the privilege of the Thais allowing my feet to walk on Thai soil and breathing in Thai air.

I can`t get excited about this Gold Card medical service, because what`s it to me?
