Hi,

I am returning to Thailand in the near future. On previous stay I had an overstay (about a year). I paid the fine at the airport (20.000), all was ok and got a stamp on my passport showing I had an overstay xxx days and fine, 20.000baht, was paid.

Will I face any problems at the immigration once I will arrive to Thailand?

Also, I have heard rumours that it might be more difficult to enter neighboring countries if you have an overstay stamp on your passport, is it so?

I am asking this because I am planning to go Savannaketh in order to get a tourist visa. I hope I can get a double-entry visa over there, or what do you think?

Thank you for your time and your valuable info in advance...

Why not get the visa from the Thai Embassy/Consulate in your home country prior to traveling?
