Savannakhet refusing Double Entry Tourist Visas to those with two or more already.

Featured Replies

If Vientiane really wanted proof of foreign incomes to grant further visas, they would make an announcement and specify what they want to see (bank statements - how many months?-or bank books? Thai or foreign? translated or not? etc..

fI always love this kinds of excuse. Why are English teachers not officially working in Thailand? If they have a work-permit the don't need Tourist Visa. Same as many Divemasters and Instrucstors,

  • As said already this has been going on for years at the Vientiane embassy so it's probably and rightly here to stay at Suvannakhet too. Three double entry tourist visas gives someone up to 18 months

I agree that they should specify exactly whats wanted, but the blue stamp says that they want proof of "financial income". As you can't work with the TR it kind of points to the fact that they want proof of income from abroad. Unless of course you have investments in Thailand that give you an income.
