Colabamumbai
Why are you afraid of telling us the name of the Immigration Office.? Whenever they try to charge me 1,000 S of Baht under the table at Sakhon Nakhon, I mention it. Or taking extension and multiple re- entry application money and not stamping them in my passport. 1,900 + 3800. and no receipt. Help people out mention the office. ableguy
Your thirty year lease concerns me, if you bought the property with another person on the chantote i.e. Wife B/F. G/F and you have a thirty year lease, are you aware you have no security ? I.e. The person whose name is on the chantote can borrow money from a bank useing the chantote as a warranty, they don't pay the money back the bank takes the house and you are out, the thirty year lease is not with the bank and they now own the house. Words of wisdom from my lawyer. My immigration told me you have to do the 90 days in the district you live in. Good luck.
MadMac
Can you borrow money from the bank for a leasehold? I mean it's nothing but a long term rental contract. You don't own the property. As for the owner, if the lease (or a usufruct) is registered in the chanod, no bank will loan you money on the property.
