Recent Experience With Thai Embassy In London Visa By Post Service?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Just wondered if anyone has any recent experience with the London Embassy when applying for a tourist visa by post?

I know the official turnaround time is 3-5 days but just wanted to make sure there's no further delays or anything new I'm not aware of.

Thanks

P.S.

One thing I want to clarify as can't remember, the self addressed envelope you have to include so they can send your passport back to you, do we have to stamp ir and pay the postage or do we just include cash for them to do it?

Their website has conflicting information on it.

Seems clear enough

"Each applicant must enclose self address envelope and pay an extra £10 (cash) on top of the visa fee to cover the return of passport"

This.

Applied there for a Non O recently. Put the application in the post on a Wednesday afternoon and it was back on Saturday morning. No issues at all.

Just to follow up on this. I did not add an extra £10.00, but I included a special delivery addressed envelope.

Anyway, I received it today - no problems

All I sent was the following:

Passport

Application form

2 Photos

SAE

Postal order

Marriage certificate (copy)

Wife's ID (copy)

Wife's passport (photo page copy)

Very easy to do and thanks to everyone for your help.
