Need to get UK Marriage Cert legalised

I've been told that I have to send my UK marriage visa to UK Legalisation in Milton Keynes for certification, they send it on to Thai Embassy in London and it makes its way back to me in Thailand. Has anybody got some advice to help me with this, also I need to send the payment fee to the Thai Embassy for the process and they say they want cash or postal order but I'm in Thailand, do they accept cheques which I can send with the application or what?

What are you trying to achieve? And what is a UK marriage visa?
