November 24-26 (Tuesday-Thursday) - Public Holidays 2015

Not sure when the Mae Jo yee peng will start this year. Usually the weekend before the actual holiday but not always. Will try to find more info on Mae Jo or perhaps members have details. BTW, this is not a public/government holiday.

I think the best places to enjoy the festival are in the Tha Pae Road/Phuttasarn/river area. Lots of local-government organized activities and the buzz of the river.

I'm not a fan of the mass release in Maejo. Traffic getting in and out is terrible. I also just feel it's too commercial and not authentic at all. However, the release is impressive.
