Soutpeel Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Wonder what he is studying at Uni ? Public admistration ? Or maybe he hoped to join the BIB. Given he had forgot his purse at home maybe saving up for his reassignment operation ?
speedtripler Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Should have just robbed 1 higher value target... 6 taxis one after another was just pure stupidity.....
kkerry Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Makes a change from wanting money for drugs I suppose. btw, the photo accompanying the BP report on this is classic...
deckape Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Did he at least change his location, or did he stand on the same damn corner for each robbery?
halloween Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 With an expected 6 consecutive sentences, he should manage a few correspondence degrees before he gets out.
slapout Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 This is why the iron buffalo should not be used, in some cases, to replace the animals. This boy has demonstrated the need for an intelligent beast to lead/show the way for many who reside in this country. Send him back home for futher social experience feeding and caring for the farm animals while giving the village dummy some experience as a minder.
NongKhaiKid Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Did he at least change his location, or did he stand on the same damn corner for each robbery? Maybe he's superstitious enough to think this is my ' lucky corner ' so why move when the spirits are looking after me ?
starky Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Wonder what he is studying at Uni ? Public admistration ? Or maybe he hoped to join the BIB. Given he had forgot his purse at home maybe saving up for his reassignment operation ? Definitely a chance if he gets a start with the BIB he's laughing. He won't have to move won't have to pull a gun and can get, what? 200 baht for no helmet? He would have that 3000 in no time plus he gets a spiffy uniform and a license to kill, awesome.

steven100 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 not too many BIB in the photo, no pointing ..... very disappointing photo shoot .
soalbundy Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 6 in one night !! who says Thais aren't prepared to work hard. He forgot his wallet and needed the money what do you do, rob a Taxi, perfectly logical. He couldn't get his friend to send the money via a bank or postal order..... no, to complicated.
ggt Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Poor kid just happens to be born in the wrong country...in an unnamed country...he would become an instant cult hero...offered free tuition, food, housing, and transportation...book deals, make the rounds of the morning news shows and become the star of his own reality show... Heaven forbid if he was an illegal alien...added to the above would be healthcare and a monthly income...
Thian Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 When a Thammasat student crashes his sportscar they mention the university, then why don't they mention this fools university? Robbing 6 taxi's in a row is asking to get arrested i would think.

Heaven forbid if he was an illegal alien...added to the above would be healthcare and a monthly income... You must be talking about France... But what you forget to mention is that in France NGOs would help him sue the university, the police and the taxi drivers for damages... Poor kid, being forced to steal from the hard working class... where are his human rights?
SOTIRIOS Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 ...to take a common criminal's statement as 'gospel'..... ...delusional all around.... ...a nation of virtue and wisdom.....
Brer Fox Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I suspect he was studying law and started looking for shortcuts to make easy money.
kennw Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Makes you wonder, if he really was after money to register for education purposes, what are his basic ethics, and is he not just another corrupt official in the making, and how many others are there? e.g. previous surveys suggested 60% plus of younger people thought corruption was OK so long ask they got some benefit. No wonder our current PM is trying to reboot Thai society.

Perhaps, you would be interested in buying this bridge in Brooklyn for a small down payment.
dotpoom Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Wonder what he is studying at Uni ? Public admistration ? Or maybe he hoped to join the BIB. Given he had forgot his purse at home maybe saving up for his reassignment operation ? He left the purse with a friend...the friend had gone home. Shows how little the Taxi men are making, on average he got less than 500 Baht from the first 5 Taxi's.
oslooskar Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Someone robbing the robbers. Classic irony. If you have compelling evidence that most taxidrivers are robbers then please present it. I drove a taxi for a good number of years in San Francisco and never robbed anyone. In fact, on several occassions I have gone to the aid of my fellow citizens who were in the process of being victimized by criminals. I was also robbed twice at gunpoint and shot the last guy who robbed me.
Somnambulist Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Or maybe they keep the main stash in a hiding place.
jacko45k Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Well that's John Dillinger safely under lock and key!
Whyamiandwhatamidoinghere Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Well he won't have his purse in prison when he gets held up by his buddies but it will be for butt not baht.
dcpo Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 If I was going to rob someone I'd pick a target less likely to be armed.
