Blood Pressure Testing

Featured Replies

Your local municipality clinic will do it for free or 20 baht or so, before anyone starts, at least where I live you don't have to be Thai .

Koolpuntville 15 on the 121 has an excellent clinic all brand new and you do not have to be a resident to use, consultation with the Doc 100 baht.

In just go into the emergency room in the one at the Waroros or Warorot (Spelling is dependent on which map I use) market and wait a bit to let myself be calm as I walked there. They have two machines. when one isn't in use which is a lot I use it never a word said about it.

Every time I have been at the hospital across the street from the Holiday Inn they take it as a matter of course no matter what reason I am in there for. I get the feeling they would do it if they were not taking one for free.

If you find you have a B.B.problem ,you can buy your own B.P.gauge at Boots .About B2,500 for a good one .

Thank you for your responses. I will try the Warorot Market area machines.

You can get a blood pressure machine from lazada c.o.d.

I bought mine from them, check my blood pressure 3/4 times every week.

I check once a month with my own arm band one from Boots .Dont buy the wrist one as its worse than useless .

I've bought an LED blood pressure meter with memory function on ebay for roughly $12 and free shipping from China. Good quality and very accurate readings.

And as someone else said, avoid the wristband type.

Thank you for your responses. I will try the Warorot Market area machines.

Sorry I forgot to mention the blood pressure is good but the heart rate is always way high at the market hospital.

Many of the blood pressure monitors here are out of calibration......Best to ask them to do it the old fashioned way. with the steth and sphyg. Many people get a reduction of 20%.....
