1. What Nationality are you?

2. Do you want a job in Thailand ?

3. What job do you do now?

Add to that:-

Your qualification level.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

I live in Malaysia.

I am a student.

Study the "restricted" occupations list first, the job you may seek may not even be possible for you as they are reserved for Thais only.

Google for info.

Are you a citizen of Malaysia?

You need to be realistic about what you expect migrating to Thailand or elsewhere is going to accomplish. If you are unqualified & unable to find employment in Malaysia it's unlikely that things will improve for you by coming to Thailand. Especially if you are living in Malaysia but do not have legal residency there, "migrating" to Thailand and obtaining legal employment here is not going to be easy. Moving to Thailand with the hope of finding employment once you're settled here will almost certainly not turn out well unless you have some extraordinary skills and prior experience using them.

Thanks

Why do you want to move to Thailand?

clap2.gif Best of luck.

Pre-graduation, you are looking at an Edu-visa, which does not permit employment.

Post-graduation, your employment possibilities would depend on your school's rank, your grades, and other skills you can document - and whether your degree-major and skills are in-demand with Thai employers.

If your skills are in demand, then you could get a job, and your employer can provide you with the paperwork to obtain a 'B' visa and work-permit.

After years working in Thailand, you could apply for permanent-residency and/or citizenship - but those are not easy. There are "guide to" posts on both paths here on this forum, explaining the whole process, costs, etc.
