What do i do? Get a reentry permit now, go UK, come back and then get the extension for 12 months? Or do i try and get the extension now for the 12 months and then get the reentry permit then go to the UK

But someone told me the 12 months was multi-entry. Im a bit confused what should i do?

You will not be able to apply for the extension until the last 30 days of the 90 day entry you have now.

Best to get a single re-entry permit for a fee of 1000 baht.

You will not get a 12 month extension unless you are attending a university or a school that falls under the category of a formal school. Language schools only get 90 day extensions as informal schools.

After you get your extension you can get a multiple re-entry permit for a fee of 3800 baht.

Are you studying a University based course? If not you will not be given a one year extension.

If with a language school only 90 day extensions are possible, renewable for up to one year.

That would depend upon which immigration office you applied at.

You can get a re-entry permit 24 hours a day at either airport in Bangkok on departure from the country. I suggest you take one 4 X 6 cm photo with you in case they are having problems doing the photos.
