Recommendation to Max Extend Tourist Visa

Recommended Posts

A bit confused by all this. Received 3x entry Tourist Visa in Canada from ThaiEmbassy. Arrived 1st week Sept. Got 1 month extension in Korat last week. Will need to go back to Canada for 2 weeks in late Nov. Requesting recommendations to maximizing stay in Thailand. Would like to be here until at least June. Need info for relative.

When you return from your trip you will use your 2nd entry. You can then extend that 60 days for 30 days. You though need to check the enter before date on your visa and be sure to use the 3rd entry on or before that date.

You will come up a little short of being here until June using your visa. If needed you could do a border hop to get a 30 day visa exempt entry that could be extended for 30 days at an immigration office.

What is the 'enter before' date printed on the visa?

Enter before Feb. 23, 2016

Ok so your last (3rd) entry needs to be on or before Feb 23rd. You'll get the 60 days on entry which can be extended by 30 days at immigration.

With this visa/extension the maximum you can stay is until towards the end of May. If you want to stay longer you'll need to do what Ubonjoe suggested and do a border hop. That will give you another 30 day visa exempt entry that will see you through most of June, and can be extended a further 30 days if you need it.
