VISA WAIVER DOCUMENT

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am Ndam from Cameroon, I have applied and have been accepted to attend a program in Thailand but there is no thai embassy or consulat in cameroon. If I need to apply for a visa, then I will need to do so in Nigeria. Cameroon is not a visa free country to enter Thailand. I have been told by the organizers that a visa waiver document will be issued to me by the Thai Authorities with which I will travel to Thailand. Please is there anyone who has an idea about this issue?? I NEED YOUR HELP!!

Best Wishes

Sorry but you must obtain a Thai visa .

The "organisers " are mistaken and no "visa waiver document" is available.

You must apply for a visa, in person, in Abuja

Details can be found in the link.

What kind of program have you been accepted on? If it is just an educational program, I cannot imagine any exception to normal visa regulations having been negotiated. If it is a government sponsored program, it might be possible that you could receive an official letter allowing you to bypass normal immigration rules. Very unusual, but not impossible. Anyway, if so, I doubt anyone here will know about it.
