Yesterday while in Makro (Korat) Mrs Jessi asked at the office when will they be getting Turkey's in stock.

Week after Xmas Im told.

Quite possibly. Late last year the number one exporter of turkey to Thailand (USA) had a bird flu scare and have been banned here ever since. Old stocks are depleted so currently a shortage.

Turkey is not even available in USA this year in larger size and what is available is far below demand due bird flu depleting stocks. Best to buy when you can.

Makro on Sukhumvit in Pattaya had Butterball & Norbest turkeys tonight with usual price of 350 & 300.
