Go to your LINE settings Settings , open it, and then half way down Basic Settings and then Notifications and make sure Sound is checked

If TONE has nothing under it, then you will have to open it and choose sound (s)

There is a funny thing with LINE. You can have a ring for some of your contacts and no ring for others. I have run into this several times. I think it has to do with setting a customized ringtone for a particular contact but the settings menus are confusing.

All my friends could not fix this problem. so I went to the oppo shop yesterday. they could not find out and their last idea was to update the software.

after the update the line app was working normal and the ringtone starts with every call. happy now

Social Media apps like LINE need to launch and keep active a background task to keep connected to the online network servers to allow 'push' notifications to work in real-time. Sometimes these background tasks get suspended or killed off ... sometimes by the OS but mostly by third-party battery or task/memory utility apps. If you are running one of these third-party utility apps on your phone it can wreck havoc on real-time notifications unless you tell the app not to kill your Social Media App.

Sometimes powering OFF then powering ON your phone to restore LINE functionality will work better than a phone 'reboot'.

...and some android phones seem to work better with LINE than others.

The OPPO Community support forum website have reports of this as an ongoing issue with live notifications.

Probably something to do with how OPPOs "Color OS" version of Android handles apps, tasks, memory and security.

Some OPPO users have stated that 'flashing' Cyanogen firmware to their phone worked for them, confirming it's an OPPO Color OS issue.

Short Answer: there is no quick/easy/simple solution.
