Army reduces checkpoints and rotates officers in the headquarters

The Royal Thai Army Headquarters has decreased the number of military checkpoints within the forces, and the special army units have been rotated, following their two-week deployment.

The security in the Royal Thai Army Headquarters over the last two weeks has been intensive, and the place has been closely watched by three special armed forces from Lop Buri Province.

Nevertheless, the number of checkpoints there has been reduced, but the troops have been rotated, in order to ensure order in the area continuously.

Meanwhile, Gen. Sonthi Boonyaratglin, the Council for National Security Chairman, has invited press members who are following the stories and updates of the army for the past two weeks to have a friendly football match this evening. The match has started at 16:30 hours at the football field inside the army headquarters.
