I am on a triple entry tourist visa. I am on the first entry. The first entry won't expire until 25 Dec. I would like to do a quick trip to Hong Kong next week.

Will Immigration issue a re-entry permit so I can keep the first entry rolling till 25 Dec or will they tell me, "Tough, use the second entry when you come back from Hong Kong."

Yes you can get a re-entry permit from immigration offices or the airport for 1,000 baht. That will keep your stay until Dec 25th when you return.

The 2nd entry can be saved for another day.

You can apply a couple of wees early for your extension. You loose nothing by doing it early the extension starts from the end of your current

entry.

You will apply for it at the immigration office in Jomtien on Soi 5.

• You should be able to apply for the 30 day extension within the last couple of weeks.
• It doesn't matter when you apply because the extra 30 days will start at the end of the 60 day stay regardless of how early you apply.
• If Nakula Pattaya then Jomtien is the immigration office.
• Documents for the extension:
  • Form TM7
  • Copy of passport photo page.
  • Copy of the passport page with the entry stamp.
  • Copy of the TM6 departure card.
  • 1 x photo
  • Possibly proof of address in Thailand.
  • 1,900 baht
