Goldcyber Dns Tables Messed Up..

In the last week goldcyber seemed to have stabilized from the horrors of the previous few weeks constant dropping.

But now I am getting some sites not accessable via TOT yet if I use a proxy everything is fine.. One site I am launching myself the DNS has only partially propogated even though its more than a week now.. the www prefix on the name doesnt work and niether does the mail.sitename.net but ftp.sitename and simple sitename.net all work !! Thats been more than one full week waiting.

Of course try talking to a TOT support person about DNS tables.. Not a scooby..

All the doc pages (also a doc.sitename) at the tikiwiki site fail.. Many others..

its acommon problem in thailand ....

terrible ocnfed nameservers ..

all provider have some problems.

well just add a static nsserver as secound one to your ifconfig and everything is cool.

like check the server used NOW (ipconfig /all)

wrrite down one of them

then change the dhcp settings to static DNS

write the notet TOT server as first one

and as secound one another machine of your trust ...

mean if tot fails then 2 sec. later the secound one will be asked anyway

BUT now the secound one is Your machine

Why have the TOT as the first DNS? If it is screwed put it as second or third only to be used a connection to abroad can't be found.

BTW completly off topic ALTF4 how is the aircraft noise?
