True internet in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

I have True Internet I think 13/1 option. Not the greatest one but it was always good enough to stream online TV (ilikehd, iflix) and YouTube.

For last 1 week I had some problem with it. Youtube was buffering every couple of seconds, same with the online TV.

Online speed test was still showing good speed - 13 download and 1 upload, exactly as I supposed to have. Downloading torrents was also not a problem - good speed.

So I was wondering why I can not watch YouTube and Online TV anymore if my speeds are good. Reset of my router did not help.

Also I did not have any changes to hardware, software etc etc. It just happened suddenly.

Decided to call help line last night (at about 11pm). They fixed my problem immediately over the phone.

Just a heads up if you encounter any of those problems in the future.

I'm usually happy with True Internet, but not today. I had no service at all and they couldn't send a tech to fixthe line until just a few minutes ago. They recognized that the problem was in the outside line at 8am. and it took him less than a minute to fix the problem with the outside line, but it took all day for them get around to it.

Let me amend my comments to say that after fixing the line, the tech rep then came to the house, checked everything, then decided that I should have a new router (no charge) as well, installed that, and set it up so that I'm getting 13mps rather than just the 12 I pay for. I'm satisfied.
