November 21, 201510 yr We are off to LAO for a break soon, and considering bringing back some red wine. Has anyone done same and did u have any issues re customs at border. Thanks ..Allan
November 21, 201510 yr Buy the cheap stuff with the screw-on caps. The locals are more familiar with those and you save a lot by not having to uncork your bottles to prove it is truly wine and then having to down it all before getting back to CM and it going off.
November 21, 201510 yr Your allowed 1 liter of alcohol per passport holder by customs. Alcohol meaning spirits, wine or beer. 1 liter total not each. Also cigarets your only allowed 200 fags or 1 carton.
November 21, 201510 yr Quite frankly ... Considering the limitations of choice and customs, you would be well advised to forget that idea and simply stock up on your next visit to BigC or Tesco.
November 21, 201510 yr Now this is some good shyt. Lao Snake Whiskey . Edited November 21, 201510 yr by khwaibah
November 21, 201510 yr Any talk of bypassing legal authorities will be removed. "Discretely" brought in a couple of litres of red wine once, but filling in the arrival card was hard going, let alone standing up for the obligatory snap shot
November 21, 201510 yr Now this is some good shyt. Lao Snake Whiskey . I like that it comes with directions. "Usage: for rheumatism, lumbago, and sweat of limbs."
