November 21, 201510 yr This may seem like a daft question but I've never had any reason to use a re-entry permit. However with the new single entry only tourist visas it will make visiting my family in Macau tricky as there is no Thai consulate in Macau. Can I use a re-entry permit with a single entry tourist visa to enable me to fly to Macau and then return to Thailand while my singe entry visa is still valid. Cheers
November 21, 201510 yr Yes you can. You can get one at the airport or at an immigration office for 1,000 baht. The re-entry permit only gives you the remainder of your original 60 day stay when you re-enter, so if you have less that 30 days remaining you might as well re-enter using visa exempt entry (if you qualify). A visa exempt entry will give you a full 30 day stay that can be extended by 30 days if needed. Edited November 21, 201510 yr by elviajero
