Baht rate vrs US dollar at CM immigration

Featured Replies

Anyone know what rate they are using now . To figuire income.

No so sure recently but when I did mine back in July it was pretty close the actual rate exchange you would get quoted by using a number of the online sources. I tend to check Google nearly every day.

If I recall in July it was 30 thb to the usd and that is what imm used for me.

The daily exchange rate. TT rate. From which bank can be a crap shot but they will be all fairly close.

My letter has it in dollars and the immigration guy always converts to Thai baht. They have never asked me what rate.

They won't. They do it automatically.

Automatically? That's a joke.

The officer who was doing my visa asked another officer what the rate was. Then she took out her phone and used the calculator to do the conversion.

I guess that's pretty 'automatic'.... facepalm.gif
