Who is paying

I guess that I´m lucky, because my thai wife since 11 years is not like many descriptions I read about.

Some of you say that I´m the one who pay,

When we get married, there was nothing about party for neighbors, relatives, friends or anything like that, we just get married and was happy about that.

We live in Sweden 8 month a year and the rest in Thailand.

In Sweden she work in a greenhouse from April til October, she have done that for many years now.

In her leisure time she´s picking mushrooms, lingonberrys and blueberrys selling to supermarkets and she is fishing a lot.

In Thailand she have rubber trees and grow vegetables

In Sweden she pay for food and everything we buy, like cloths, schoes everything for the house and for the garden a lot of flowers vegetables and fruit.

She even paid the for a new TV and a new washing machin. When we bought a new (not new) car she paid half of the car.

We (she) have a beautiful house in Isaan, that she build and payed for her own money.

What about me, well I pay all the bills like insurance, electric, TV, internet etc. The house is paid, no loan.

I also bought some furnitures in Thailand.

It was me who wanted the house bigger a couple of years ago, so I furnished the new livingroom.

But when in Thailand with her, I never use my Master Card, if we stay in a hotel or take a domestic flight, she pay with her money.

Very often I read about farangs as walking ATMs.

In the beginning when she had nothing of course I payed for flighttickets and stuff like that, but not now.

I´ve also been reading like "you can take a girl out from a bar, but you can´t take the bar out from the girl"

We met in soy Whitehouse in Jomtien where she was working in a bar.

One good thing about that is that she´s not jealous. I can do what I want.

She know that sex is sometimes only sex for pleasure.

Four years ago when she did´nt want to go to Thailand, she said to me, you can go alone.

She also said, drink beer, dance, go with girls and have a good time, we will not be younger.

I did, when I came home after two month in Thailand she asked me if I had many girls, I said japp.

She said good, I hope they where young if you go with old women you could stay home with me :-)

My wife is 20 years younger than me and I love her deeply, even moore after she let me go alone to Thailand.

After that, I found out that I have moore fun when I go with her, she know how to work hard but she also now how to party.

English is not my first language, but I hope that you can read my writing.

Somebody that have similar experience.

I think we are more apt to hear the horror stories than positive ones. I've been with my Thai GF for 12 years and my experience is similar to Kenio's. The first two or so years of our relationship I dropped $30,000 supporting her and paying her collage tuition. (must have been a little horney back then) Like Kenio's wife, my GF won't let me pay for anything. It actually pisses me off. Like all relationships there's quirks, but I couldn't imagine a Faroug C++t putting up with my shenanigans .

Her mama and papa passed away long time ago, brothers and sisters support themself

Her nearest brother who is a very good man, said to her, that you must also think about

that even if you pay for your house and other things

it´s your husband that make it possible for you to make this money.

There are a lot of very good girls (women) in Thailand, even in the bars.

But everybody who think about an relationship with a thaigirl must understand that it takes time and patience

.

They are not raised the way we westerners are, their logical thinking is not always like ours.

There are things that is very important for many of them that means nothing for us.

When you understand that your way to think and behave necessarily is´nt the right way.

Well then you´re a little bit on the way to an balanced and hopefully wonderful relation.

Going on ten years with my wife and we have a great marriage. Seems like you only read about the disasters but there are plenty of happily married couples who do not experience the noise.

I think that many folks on TV have been burnt in some way or another (maybe their own doing) and will bitch until they die (human nature). My wife was not a bar girl , she is i would say middle class , the family have money ,not fortunes ,but are comfortable , she is 24 years younger than me and we have a 22 year old son we were married in the UK so it was no big affair , she is the same as most women ,Thai or western , she would be devastated if i went off having sex with other women ,as would most decent married women , some people i suppose class their free and easy marriages as normal , each to his own . much of my life i have slept with as many women as i could , but neither would i cheat on my wife .

When I´m in Thailand we live up north, about 50 km south of Bueng Kan.

I will go the 10th of Dec. and stay til spring.

My wife is already there, taking care of rubbertrees and other things.

I would never cheat on my wife, it was she that encouraging me and she ment it.

We are open about everything, no lies, that´s important.

That have nothing about beeing decent or not to do.

For us sex is something positiv and of course it´s very important that both are at the same level.

There are people that are swingers and all kind of.

I know a man from Germany that is married with a thai girl, they have been together for many years.

When they go to Thailand they use to pay a girl for having a triangel with them.

That´s not my taste, but people are different.

We're living in Oregon,USA for another one and a half years before we'll move to Thailand. The plan is to live in Rayong, Province for 4 months and Hawaii the rest of the year. We haven't any plans about traveling to Thailand until we finish up here. Life is good here but looking forward to the move. Let's keep in touch and hook up sometime in the future. [email protected]
