That's what happens when you do not share the proceeds of your ill forgotten gains with your fellow police officers !!!! Enjoy your Christmas in the slammer !

Problem is...even if you did share the money....they would still sacrifice you and use you as their scapegoat anyhow...

Cheers

I agree that translators are useful, which was my point. Hire certified translators. It's the 'other duties' aspect that's the issue - they shouldn't be doing 'other duties'.

I also agree that it is not only volunteer police operating under the current system that have been accused of abuse, but my comment was not generalising. I didn't say 'all' or even 'most', however it is clear from regular news reports that the proportion of volunteers abusing their authority is FAR higher than it should be.

What if certain certified translators are also in on the game, pattaya court is a big joke.

l can't believe that anyone would be so stupid to return here if they had done what he is supposed to have done.

There are other places in the world with the same atmosphere.

Ah the lure of Pattaya.

off topic generalisation removed, we are talking about one person here that is all

Nothing about the stupidity of people here would ever surprise me.

It's difficult to believe that a foreign police volunteer would have enough authority to clear serious charges.

800k sounds like quite a lot of "authority"

Very pleased to see that someone with an arrest warrant can be captured at Immigration.

One less criminal in there..........

he probably thought he could get away with it by changing his name he is unfortunately one of many who should have been checked up on entering Thailand a police clearance certificate should be submitted on entering the country and no one should be allowed in unless they have been cleared .
