What's up with "What's up" by 4 non-blondes?

Featured Replies

I hear this song everywhere these days. Someone said it's a special Pattaya song, but every single live music venue in Krabi is playing it at least once every night too, not only in Pattaya. Anyone know why it's so popular nowadays? The Thai people I've asked have all insisted that it's a new song, impossible to convince them that it's really like 25 years old... :)

And here was me thinking it was a new song as well.........................sad.png

This clip is actually worth watching, and proves to a certain extent that you don't need to know English to sing...................thumbsup.gif

This was from 2012, Thailand's got Talent.

I would love to see a Thai singing the proclaimers " I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more" while trying to copy a thick glasgow accent and wearing those thick coke bottle glasses.

Leith.

They're Hibbies.

That song was huge in Asia in general back when it came out, played it everywhere not just Thailand

Love the song. Love the whole album. It's on my country driving MP3 CD. In the studio album version she can out-scream Robert Plant. I hope they play it next time I am in a bar.
