udon
You should have no problem finding one in a dept store. Only prob is, they come with the cover already sewn on which makes them a bastard to wash. I had to buy seperates in the UK & Aus.

LaoPo
Duvets: If you're about to buy a duvet..........buy a silk duvet (inside) with cotton outer. Just Google a bit and you'll find where to order; I'm not sure about Thailand but you might be able to order online from China. Since about half a year I sleep under one of them....it's the most comfortable you can imagine. LaoPo
Talisman
LaoPo: Totally agree with you regarding the comfort of silk duvets. Trouble is; I have not been able to find a supplier in Thailand! Would anyone know of such a Thai supplier please?

LaoPo
What is so special about a silk duvet, ........errm...... apart from being made of silk? Pls enlighten me. *************************************************** About silk A xxxxx silk duvet is the ultimate duvet. Curl up under our luxurious duvets filled with pure silk floss and you will never want to sleep under any other cover again. Unlike traditional duvets our duvets are very light, thin, and drape over the contours of your body. · luxuriously soft and light, warm in winter and cool in summer · silk is a breathable material which helps regulate body temperature · naturally hypoallergenic · 100% natural, a healthy alternative to down, feather or synthetic duvets "Once you have acquired a xxxxxxx duvet, you'll find it hard to go back to run-of-the-mill kind." **************************************************** It's indeed very light in weight and very comfortable; in fact the inner-side of the silk-duvet is made of pure Chinese Silk in a kind of mattings, around which a (better quality) Cotton cover is made. There are however also 100% silk duvets, inner- and outer but I have no experience with those. A lot of people are sweating under normal duvets filled with down, feathers or even worse, synthetic fibers. With silk filled duvets that belongs to history. Also, they are surprisingly light-weight LaoPo Edited October 16, 2006 by LaoPo

LaoPo
Thanks...... got a link? Sure, I don't have any interests in these companies, so I'm not recommending anybody... http://www.silkcafe.co.uk/?gclid=CObj4YTa34cCFR9nMAoddkdpkg http://www.mandarina.co.uk/index.html http://www.biancalorenne.co.nz/ http://www.puresilkduvets.co.uk/home.html We (my wife and me) have however contacts in China where one could buy a lot cheaper than through these, above mentioned, links.
