Adhesive for use under water. Suggestions, please?

I have some small mosaic tiles which have come off in my swimming pool, under the water line.

It's not practicable to drain the pool for a few tiles so I'm looking for an adhesive which is designed to be applied and to set under water.

I have been told that one can be found in Thailand but I know no more than that.

I thought that a two-paste epoxy adhesive would probably work if I can't get a specialised one, but I'd rather get something designed for the job.

Does anyone know of such an adhesive, please?

Cement will eventually set underwater you just have to stop it washing away.

The 2 part epoxy putty would be easier to apply though.

Thanks guys!

@johng

The tile is only 2cm square so cement won't do it. Good suggestion though. I didn't tell you the size.

I searched for 'underwater adhesive', not swimming pool stuff. My bad! I'll have a second cup of coffee next time.

The link you gave me gives all the options, thanks!!

Look for crocodile brand

2 part epoxy adhesive in the local hardware store - it is used for bonding steel reinforcing to concrete - it will do the trick for you.

This is defiantly the stuff you need used it numerous time for fixing mosaic tiles underwater.

Right, I'm off to get some of that putty if I can, and crocodile brand if I can't.

Luckily I have the scuba gear to do the job properly. All I needed was the adhesive.

Many thanks for the advice, gentlemen!
