Hi all,

I read on this forum that some additional documents pertaining to proof of address were required at the Jomtien Imm' office for a 60 day tourist visa extension...... Has anyone recently tried to extend their tourist visa by 30 days recently at Chaeng Wattana? If so, were any documents required for proof of address ie: rental contract, tabien baan etc....?

I am on the first entry of a triple entry tourist visa (obtained on London about 6 weeks ago before the new METV came into effect) and it expires on the 29th Dec and so I need to get a 30 day extension in the next 2-3 weeks. Normally, I just provide the normal documents (passport pic, passport copy, landing card, visa and entry stamp and extension request form) but I am worried about turning up without some of the required documents. I have a rental contract for the condo I am staying in and a TOT internet bill but according to the post about the extension in Jomtien, a TM30 declaration form was required.....Please could someone confirm whether there are any new requirements at Chaeng Wattana??

Thanks!

I'm also at the end of a first entry on an old-school triple TR from London. I got it extended today at CW no problems.

Just need the usual (one) copy of visa, entry card, data page; one photo.

I'm in a guesthouse and took a copy of the owner's ID card along, just in case, but wasn't asked for it. The guy sitting next to me was in a condo and didn't seem to be getting any grief.

hth

btw, from 1st September 2015 they are only issuing places in the queue until 3:30pm, not 4:30pm.
