jimmybee74
Just returned from crossing into Laos on the Versys, no problems, very straight forward process, took about 2 hrs to leave and only 45minutes to return. recom273
Friendship bridge 1 at Nong Khai > Vientiane This is interesting as I was under the impression you needed to pay for an escort over the bridge.
jimmybee74
No need. Do all the paperwork and ride on over yourself no escort. Same on return. I was the only bike crossing at the time both ways and came across no resistance. The one annoying thing I found when buying my CTP insurance is I could not insure my bike for theft or crash so that's definately something you may wish to consider. www.midlifemate.com
